-Who are you?
-I’m an artist, a mother, a friend, a sister, and a spiritual seeker (this sounds like I’m writing a pop song).

-What are you passionate about?
-Writing, art of all kinds and friends.

-What are you doing in your life right now?
-I’m in the end process of writing my 5th novel and the early stages of writing my first screenplay.

-What is your strongest calling or strength?
-Curiosity and perseverance.

-How do you recharge your batteries or nourish yourself?
-I nap a lot – anytime, anyplace, for even 2 minutes. My kids drag me to the movies (thank God, or else I’d forget how much I love movies). Reading. Long, slow runs. Long talks with my friends or sisters (I have 4 of them).

-What would you like to acknowledge yourself for?
-My dedication to regaining perspective – and even humor – every time I lose it. A belief in the power of forgiveness and my willingness to practice it.

-What are you grateful for?
-My 3 beautiful, interesting, distinctive children. I feel privileged to be their mom. And my whole life, I’ve been able to do work that I love, both as an actor and writer. And my wide circle of marvelous friends.

-As a woman leader what are your unique strengths that help you and your staff succeed?
-A sense of humor and a “we’re all in this together” attitude.

-What inspires you?
-Extraordinary people, and also ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Artists who express themselves, especially the ones whose vision is so unusual or distinctive that you know they
had to go through a lot to get it out into the world.
